About the Team:

Invesco’s Internal Consulting team acts as a trusted advisor and transformation partner to senior leadership and business units. The team combines structured problem-solving with deep institutional knowledge to deliver high-impact change initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic priorities. Our work spans operating model design and implementation, operational efficiency, regulatory readiness, digital transformation, large scale enterprise transformation, to name a few.

About the Role:

As a Senior Principal Consultant, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact consulting engagements across Invesco. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement business and technology solutions that drive strategic outcomes. This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering results with one of world’s leading asset managers.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Independently lead the delivery of large-scale, global programs and consulting engagements across business and technology domains.

  • Partner with senior leaders to assess needs, define solutions, and drive implementation.

  • Manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

  • Develop business cases, future state designs, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Provide expertise in areas such as business process optimization, change management, and digital transformation.

  • Create compelling, executive-ready deliverables and presentations.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Consulting practice

Requirements of the Role:

  • 5 – 7 years of management consulting or internal transformation roles, ideally in financial services (asset management preferred).

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-stakes programs with both business and technology components.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at the senior executive level.

  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) Other Personal Attributes Required

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication abilities.

  • Comfortable operating across all consulting domains (tech, data, regulatory, strategy, etc.).

  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability in dynamic environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in executive-level presentation tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint).
