About the Department/ Team:

The Global Talent function is responsible for talent acquisition, talent and performance management, learning and leadership development, early career pipeline planning at Invesco globally.

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and globally minded Learning & Leadership Development Partner to join our Human Resources team within the financial services sector. This role will serve as a trusted thought partner to the Head of Learning & Leadership Development, playing a key role in shaping and evolving our enterprise learning and leadership development strategies. This role will partner closely with senior leaders, HR business partners, and global stakeholders to design, deliver, and scale leadership development strategies that align with the firm’s goals and values.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Program Design and Implementation: Develop and implement leadership development programs that address the needs of leaders at various levels within the organization. Ensure programs are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and leadership competencies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to identify leadership development needs and priorities. Facilitate regular meetings and workshops to gather input and feedback on program effectiveness.
  • Curriculum Development: Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to design engaging and impactful learning experiences, including programs, workshops, coaching sessions, and virtual/hybrid learning experiences.
  • Program Management: Oversee the planning and administration of leadership development programs, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation (in partnership with the Learning Implementation Lead). Monitor program progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  • Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Develop metrics and assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs. Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance program impact.
  • Facilitation and Coaching: Facilitate leadership development sessions and provide coaching to participants as needed. Support leaders in applying new skills and knowledge to their roles.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Seek and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices of learning, leadership development, talent development and financial services.
  • Strategic Alignment: Maintain a thorough understanding of Invesco’s strategic objectives and current initiatives and priorities. Ensure that learning solutions are properly aligned and support the achievement of key objectives.
  • Global Team Collaboration & Effectiveness: Operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment, adapting strategies to meet the needs of different regions and business functions.

Requirements of the Role:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related areas.
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization with exposure to cross-regional learning & leadership development strategies.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering global programs at scale, with a systems-thinking mindset and the ability to connect learning & leadership development strategies to broader organizational goals.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with leadership frameworks, assessments, and coaching methodologies.
  • Demonstrated credibility and presence when engaging with senior HR and business leaders, with the ability to influence, advise, and build trust across levels and functions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity in learning management systems and data analytics tools is a plus.
