Job Description
About the Department / Team:
The global ETF market is poised for continued high growth in which Invesco has a focused business strategy to capitalize on. The focus areas include a globally scaled platform, innovative multi-asset capabilities, and targeted commercial efforts focused on select regions and clients.
About the Role:
The Associate position will be responsible for managing team communications, reporting and administrative responsibilities and leading select projects aligned with Invesco’s ETF priorities.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Manage documents and communications related to board meetings or other regulatory communications
- Provide general administrative support for the CAO team, including reporting and communication needs
- Support key strategic initiatives as needed, ensuring the proposal and development of effective solutions are in line with Invesco’s strategic priorities
- Maintain project schedules, budgets and plans and monitor overall progress and team performance
- Develop strong communication plans including areas where stakeholders can pull information (i.e. SharePoint) and understanding which method of communication works best for specific stakeholders (stakeholder management)
- Conduct post implementation reviews, project closure and handover of operational processes to business owners
- Develop relationships at all levels within the organization. This includes relationship management of key stakeholders and senior managers
- Disciplined approach to documenting and archiving information
- Identifying opportunities to enhance business processes (i.e. process improvement initiatives), requires strategic thinking
Requirements of the Role:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Ideally 2 years of project management experience, preferably gained in the financial services industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Ability to adapt to a fast dynamic asset management business
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external partners
- Ability to influence and persuade others, bridge differences and build consensus towards a common goal or objective
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to tell a story through presentation
- Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills
The salary range for this position in Downers Grove is $90,000 - $100,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
