Job Description
Your Role
The Senior Principal Enterprise Architect for Security will partner with the Invesco global security team to architect and implement technology solutions to address current and emerging information security and compliance challenges including network security, cloud security, data protection, software security, application security and customer identity access management. The architect will lead the creation of architecture strategies, reference architecture, roadmaps, patterns, and standards for security platforms and services, working closely with solution architects, functional partners, and information security leaders.
You will be Responsible For:
Develop and implement customer identity and access management solutions that align with business goals, objectives and policies.
Define the global deployment architecture of the enterprise-wide SaaS based Customer Identity and Access Management(CIAM) platform and own the architecture roadmap, capabilities and the application onboarding strategy and patterns.
Partner with the Enterprise Data Office to define the data migration strategy for applications onboarding to the CIAM platform and the strategy for a centralized identity, consent and preference datastore.
Drive technical evaluations and decision recommendations around various security platforms such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), ID Proofing etc.
Define strategies, reference architectures, standards, and architecture roadmaps for key security capabilities such as secrets management
Review and approve architecture solutions via EA governance to ensure strategic alignment, avoidance of tech debt and alignment to architecture principles
Support the solution architecture community for security solution architects
Collaborate with security architects and the cloud team on cloud application migration strategy for key security platforms
The Experience You Bring:
In-depth understanding of customer identity, privacy and security, as well as familiarity with various authentication and authorization protocols.
Respected experience in an architecture role, supporting information security architecture in sophisticated enterprise environments
Deep experience with Identity and Access management
Experience with architecture modeling using industry standard notation languages (Archimate)
Experience with drafting and institutionalizing architecture patterns and architecture standards
Experience with software application development in multiple programming languages and technology platforms
Experience with application design and development on one or more cloud platforms
Basic business understanding of financial services and asset management
Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems/information security or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Preferred Certified TOGAF
CIAM Architect certifications, such as CISSP or CISA, are also preferred
Preferred Vendor Certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
