About the Department/ Team:

Corporate Engineering, a team within D2E2, oversees the technological roadmap, strategy and execution of pivotal transformation projects that support various corporate functions. Corporate Engineering is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of large-scale projects that drive back-office transformation through initiatives that reshape the technological landscape and usher in key changes across various domains.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Engineer – Oracle Financials Cloud ERP to join our Finance Technology team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle Financials Cloud ERP solutions and their boundary applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, strong integration skills, and a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting. The role will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives such as ERP modernization, cloud migration, and automation, while ensuring seamless integration with surrounding systems like Revport, Snowflake, Autosys/UAC, and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, with a focus on Financials modules.
  • Support and enhance boundary applications that interact with ERP, including billing system (e.g., Revport), data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake), job schedulers (e.g., Autosys/UAC), and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in ERP data migration, archival, and integration efforts, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP transactions, integrations, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives across ERP and boundary systems to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and audit requirements.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud ERP updates and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Application teams to define and enforce best practices for ERP data storage, performance, and security.
  • Mentor and guide offshore engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance ERP capabilities and support long-term strategic goals.

Requirements of the Role:

  • 8+ years of experience in ERP development and support, with at least 3 years in Oracle Financials Cloud ERP.
  • Strong understanding of ERP integrations, data flows, and boundary applications.
  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake, Autosys/UAC, and financial reporting platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting for ERP BIP report development and automation.
  • Solid grasp of financial processes including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate with other team members, managers and clients.
  • The ability to multi-task on various projects and support items.
  • Action-oriented. Able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced demanding work environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of mutual fund industry, data and processes highly preferred.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
