About The Department:
Client Intelligence is responsible for increasing client focused, data driven decision making at Invesco. The group works mostly with the Distribution and Marketing teams to help increase net sales and share of wallet through a better understanding of our clients (financial advisors, institutions, and direct purchasers). It works like a small startup within the organization, with a clear focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency through end-to-end management of data, analytics, visualization, and in-field implementation. There is a distinct focus on building talent through training and recruiting as well as redefining the vision and engagement model with the rest of the organization. In short, it’s an exciting place to be at for self-starters who want to set and own their paths forward.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Deliver High-Quality Analytics: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of analytics to support distribution partners and specialists as well as internal stakeholders such as product development and marketing teams.
Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Leverage data-driven insights, industry best practices, and home office intelligence to deepen relationships with distribution partners and specialist groups and align with strategic business objectives.
Advance Data Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to the development and execution of the product master and analytics roadmap, promoting the strategic use of data to identify and implement growth opportunities for Invesco’s Distribution team.
Drive Client Strategy Through Analytics: Utilize data to define, track, and evaluate client segmentation and specialist engagement strategies, product commercialization efforts, and execution effectiveness.
Collaborate on Data Architecture and Operations: Partner with Distribution and Data teams to design and manage product/client master, streamline data operations, and provide input on data architecture requirements.
Enable Go-to-Market Execution: Support the creation and enhancement of product campaign dashboards and segmentation tools that empower business partners to access insights and execute targeted strategies.
Influence Through Insight: Build strong relationships with leaders across Distribution, specialists, product, and marketing teams to embed analytics into strategic decision-making processes.
Lead Strategic Projects: Own and manage cross-functional initiatives from problem identification through solution design to implementation, ensuring measurable business impact.
Requirements of the Role:
Over 5 years of experience translating complex data into actionable insights within a consulting environment, ideally within the asset management industry
Proven ability to collaborate with home office and field sales leaders, as well as product specialists, by converting business needs into clear technical requirements and impactful solutions
Demonstrated leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies, particularly for clients utilizing outsourced portfolios, ETFs, model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investment products
Deep familiarity with ETF/model portfolio data and financial datasets relevant to the asset management space
A rare blend of hands-on data analytics capabilities and direct sales experience, enabling a holistic understanding of both technical and commercial dimensions
The successful candidate will demonstrate high personal initiate, the ability to work independently and be a strong team player
Strong focus on stakeholder service, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to data optimization, storytelling, and go-to-market execution

Technical competence:
Experience in using Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
Exceptional storyboarding skills using MS PowerPoint
Proficiency in data analysis and database queries (SQL, Snowflake, AWS, PYTHON)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,00 to $150,000 annually.
