Your role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst with strong Excel and VBA skills to support the EMEA Distribution Business Management function. The role will be varied, using many skill sets, but with a higher emphasis on embedding automation, data manipulation and analysis into core processes to elevate and scale insight production. The ideal candidate will work with various datasets, including CRM activity, third-party market information and internal financial data, to provide meaningful insights, streamline reporting, and enhance the decision-making processes

What we are looking for:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Summarise and manipulate data from Salesforce dashboards to support business decisions

  • Analyse and synthesise market data (e.g., Broadridge, Preqin) related to trends, flows, AUM developments, and asset class net flows

  • Track and summarise Invesco’s finances, fund flows, and performance to keep stakeholders informed

Process Automation & Dashboard Development:

  • Automate data processing and reporting tasks using Excel and VBA to improve efficiency

  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards for tracking key business and financial metrics

Ensure continued evolution of Data use:

  • Look for opportunities to embed the use of data in more processes

  • Encourage and educate the wider team on data use and the key skills that could help them

What you can bring:

  • Knowledge of how to use coding skills to collect, collate and curate datasets (e.g. SQL, R, Python)

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data presentation

  • Experience of using data visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau) to surface data in a user-friendly way

  • Experience with VBA programming for automation and efficiency improvements.

  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial and market data (Previous use of financial datasets like Broadridge and Prequin beneficial, but not a pre-requisite)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data manipulation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for summarising insights and engaging with stakeholders

  • A degree in mathematics, statistics, sciences or similar
