Job Description
About the Role:
As an Analyst II within Invesco’s Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely reporting of Assets Under Management (AUM). You will contribute to daily and monthly reporting processes, assist in automation efforts, and collaborate across teams to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Role:
AUM Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and validate daily and monthly AUM reports for business line managers and senior leadership.
Conduct variance analysis and account reconciliations to identify and explain key drivers.
Support ad hoc reporting requests related to AUM.
Process Optimization & Automation
Maintain and enhance reporting workflows using Alteryx and Excel.
Assist in the development and testing of automation solutions for recurring reporting tasks.
Document and improve existing processes to support scalability and accuracy.
Systems & Data Management
Support new account setup and data validation in Oracle Cloud Financials.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Collaboration & Support
Partner with global finance teams and offshore shared service centers to ensure smooth process transitions.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools and processes.
Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve reporting quality.
Requirements of the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis, preferably in asset management or financial services.
Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with Alteryx and Oracle Cloud Financials is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams and geographies.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
