Job Description
About the Team / Department:
Develop the next generation technologies that change how users interact with the Invesco Vision platform. As part of the Solutions Portfolio Engineering and Analytics team, you will work closely with Product, UI/UX Designers, Technologists, and Quantitative Researchers to ensure delivery of a high-quality, cloud-based portfolio construction and analytics platform.
About the Role:
The role will allow for significant opportunities for creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Operating in an Agile product development environment, managing stakeholder requests with clear prioritization, translating complex business needs into technical requirements, and applying a design thinking approach to deliver user-centric, iterative solutions aligned with strategic goals
- Acting as a liaison between business and engineering teams to ensure alignment on solution design, delivery timelines, and business outcomes
- Participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative development cycles
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria to support development and testing
- Partnering with Product and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps, while proactively integrating testing and validation early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), tracking defects, and ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with QA and development teams
- Demonstrating excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Bringing an inquisitive and innovative mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for distinctive value creation
Requirements of the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in fintech or financial services, and strong domain knowledge in asset management
- Proven success in Agile product delivery, stakeholder engagement, and product development using design thinking to create user-centric financial solutions
- Strong financial and technical acumen with hands-on experience in systems analysis
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and datasets: MSCI BarraOne, Aladdin, Bloomberg, ESG Manager, Rimes, Morningstar
- Experience applying AI and Large Language Models to enhance data analysis and user experience in financial platforms
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The salary range for this position in Boston and New York City is $130,000 - $150,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
