Job Description
Job Purpose (Job Summary): As a premier global investment organization the Invesco Bank Loan Team offers a full product line of investment options to both institutional and retail investors. This opportunity with the Bank Loan Oversight and Administration Team will provide support to the portfolio management and investment team covering various reporting areas, trade support and settlement efforts.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of scheduled and ad-hoc CLO reporting (ie monthly reports, quarterly payment reports) and providing other reporting requirements for internal/external clients including, but not limited, to the investment team, trustees, team members, legal & compliance. Ability to assess issues and take corrective actions as needed when dealing with trustees and raise concerns with the investment team and management when necessary.
Responsible for new CLO warehouse set-up process, life cycle support includes, but not limited to, warehouse tie-outs and waterfall, trustee & underwriter support, investment team support, proper entry of closing entries into internal systems and the CLO close.
Familiarity and experience with reconciliation and tie-out duties for Invesco CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations) mid-month and monthly reporting effort in support of CLO portfolio manager.
Provide weekly reports run in support of PM/analyst team. To include support on reinvestment and post-reinvestment cycles.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team to ensure the group provides top-tier service to both internal and external clients and service providers.
Support the team to ensure and maintain the data quality and integrity of the critical information that supports the business. Complete data mining, from a variety of internal & external sources, and analysis for Bank Loan clients.
Proactively assess processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team while improving oversight and controls in key areas.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
3+ years’ work experience required
Familiarity with CLO’s (Collateral Loan Obligations) and reporting requirements
A solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations is desired
Experience in a reporting / product oversight role is plus
Familiarity and experience with banks loans / bonds and bond settlements is required
Experience in the investment management space is required
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Ability to conduct analysis and present data in a meaningful way
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Word
Working knowledge of S&P Wall Street Office and/or Allvue-Everest is a plus
Team Oriented Team player
Ability to work independently and follow through on projects
Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and complete tasks upon assignment
Open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
Formal Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, business (Finance/Accounting) degree preferred
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in Illinois is $90,000 to $113,000 annually.
