Job Description
Duties:
- Discovery and evaluation of product opportunities.
- Owning the complete cycle from ideation to launch to operationalization of our digital products. (Vision, strategy, backlog).
- Setting and tracking product OKRs.
- Owning product roadmaps, prioritization and reporting.
- Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details.
- Aligning on and resolving priorities and issues with multiple business stakeholders and enterprise technology.
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and delivering artefacts as needed.
- Translating high-level, complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Leading product development teams to deliver working software and business value/outcomes.
- Leading and facilitating remote design sprints, user research/interviews, workshops etc.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- Must have earned at least one Agile framework certification, such as Scrum Master (PSM) or Product Owner (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM).
- Must have 5 years of progressive experience in product manager and/or product owner positions performing/utilizing the following:
- Guiding products from initial hypothesis to MVP launch, scaling, and operationalization in financial services, with wealth/fintech background.
- Digital transformation initiatives within financial services, including product strategy, business transformation, and process optimization.
- Leading Agile product development teams, including experience as a Scrum Master working in SCRUM, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks, managing stakeholder communication, and aligning priorities with executive leadership, external partners, and internal development teams.
- Stakeholder management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, roadmap alignment, and execution in financial services and technology-driven environments.
- Owning the complete product lifecycle, including product vision, strategy, backlog management, roadmap creation, and OKR tracking.
- Utilizing data analysis for strategic decision-making, product optimization, and product performance evaluation.
- Conducting user research, market analysis, and synthesizing feedback into actionable product priorities.
- Working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for data analysis and stakeholders’ presentations.
- Utilizing JIRA and Confluence for Agile project management and workflow documentation.
- Working with interconnected products and client journeys in large enterprise technical architectures/APIs
- Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Invesco offices in New York, NY. Must be available to travel to New York, NY regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
- Salary range: $165,000 - $185,000
