Your role:

Support the product development team in assessing new product opportunities, assisting in the design of new products and guiding them through internal & external approval and governance processes leading to execution and launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quantitative / analytical support to the product development process. Assist in assessing new product ideas including analysis of competitor spaces, index and fund compositions analysis, performance comparisons (including competitor products and indices), risk analysis and regulatory eligibility.

  • Assist in the drafting of offering documents and preparation of product due diligence reports, business cases and internal governance related documents to support new launches through of internal (relevant committees and senior management) and external (e.g. fund board) product approvals.

  • Identify and lead initiatives, including building tools and automating tasks, to continuously improve the product development process to ensure it is streamlined, effective, and incorporates the best ideas from the widest possible range of contributors.

  • Run reporting to monitor market trends, flows and new product developments.

  • Assist in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (such index providers).

  • Support the creation of marketing and promotional materials for new product launches, including preparation of underlying analyses.

  • Support the new product governance process through interaction with internal stakeholders

What you can bring:

  • Highly developed quantitative / analytical skills and confidence manipulating and analysing data

  • Very strong technical / computer skills (esp. Excel) and experience in programming (Python, SQL, VBA)

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg is desirable

  • Good understanding of financial instruments and markets

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative subject field (maths, physics, engineering)

  • Effectively operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment

  • Highly motivated self-starter

  • Good time management and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent problem-solving capability

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
