Legal, Compliance, Audit & Risk (LCAR) Intern – Early Careers Overview
Ready to make your mark in the world of asset management? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 10-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2026 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.

Your Role
LCAR plays a key role in supporting Invesco’s strategic and operational goals. As an Early Career LCAR Intern, you will support critical functions that protect and guide the firm, assisting with initiatives such as legal research, regulatory assessments, compliance monitoring, and internal audits. Through project work and collaboration, you’ll gain valuable experience in governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks within a global financial services organization.
What you’ll do
Reviewing and documenting business and technology processes to identify key risks and associated controls
Assisting with legal research, regulatory assessments, and compliance monitoring activities
Supporting internal audit efforts by contributing to controls testing and documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance governance and risk management practices
Contributing to automation and digital transformation initiatives within compliance and audit functions
Preparing reports and summaries on risk and controls status for internal stakeholders
Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Engaging in ad-hoc projects aligned with regulatory and operational priorities

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2027
Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
All majors welcome with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering or Mathematics
A demonstrated interest in legal, compliance, audit, or risk management
Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

The compensation for this position is $35/hour.
