Your role:

The Performance Manager is responsible for overseeing the calculation, analysis, and reporting of investment performance across all asset classes and strategies within Invesco’s global framework. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with industry standards, delivery of actionable insights to internal stakeholders, and manages relationships with both internal teams and external service providers. You will possess deep expertise in performance measurement, GIPS compliance, and risk-adjusted return metrics, supported by strong analytical and communication skills. The Performance Manager is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results by effectively managing deadlines, aligning with client expectations, and leading staff to uphold best practices across the department

Key responsibilities:

1) Leadership & Oversight:

  • Assist leading a global team of performance analysts and oversee outsourced/offshored service providers to ensure timely and accurate performance reporting

  • Establish clear SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks for third-party vendors and outsource/offshore teams

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and reduce operational risk

  • Effectively lead and develop team members by fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth

  • Collaborate across regions and time zones to ensure seamless communication and alignment in a global operating environment

2) Performance Calculation & Interpretation:

  • Supervise daily, monthly, and quarterly performance calculations for portfolios, composites, and benchmarks

  • Ensure robust analysis/interpretations of results across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies

3) Compliance & Standards:

  • Maintain adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) and regulatory requirements

  • Implement strong controls and audit trails across internal and outsourced processes for data integrity

4) Reporting & Insights:

  • Deliver high-quality performance reports and dashboards to internal and external stakeholders

  • Provide interpretation of performance drivers and risk-adjusted returns

5) Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and outsourced/offshored providers, ensuring alignment and accountability

  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and client reporting functions globally

  • Respond to client inquiries and support RFPs with accurate performance data and commentary

What you can bring:

  • Proven experience in performance measurement, in a leadership role

  • Experience managing outsourced and offshored teams, including vendor governance and SLA management

  • Experience with attribution methodologies (Brinson, fixed income attribution, multi-currency) a plus

  • Strong knowledge of GIPS® standards and regulatory frameworks

  • Strong technology skills including the knowledge of investment analytics/attribution applications as well as expertise in Microsoft applications including Excel, Access, Power BI, and VBA is preferred. Programming skills are also a plus

  • Proficiency in performance systems (e.g., Eagle, Factset, Aladdin)

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathamatics, or related field

  • CFA or CIPM designation or progress toward certification preferred

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities to drive initiatives to completion

  • Skilled in conducting complex analyses and translating data into clear, actionable insights

  • Exceptional analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to build relationships and communicate across diverse teams, departments, and geographies

  • Adaptable and open-minded, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic global environments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain focus on critical details under pressure
