What role will you play?

As a member of Infrastructure and Energy Capital (“IEC”) team, perform project finance investment banking tasks with direct principal investing from Macquarie Capital’s balance sheet; participate in project finance advisory and infrastructure development; and interact with clients on North America’s preeminent infrastructure and project finance transactions. Specific duties include supporting IEC team in raising committed debt and equity financing for infrastructure opportunities; overseeing and undertaking financial analysis and modeling; negotiating commercial contracts; conducting due diligence; and engaging professionally with counterparties, such as industry partners, due diligence advisors, and client representatives.​
$260,000 to $275,000 per year
Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics) plus 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of investment banking and/or management consulting experience with focus on infrastructure sector.
  • ​In alternative, Master’s degree in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics) plus 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of investment banking and/or management consulting experience with focus on infrastructure sector.
  • ​Prior experience must include 3 years working on all aspects of investment process, including performing financial modeling, performing structural modeling and transaction structuring, performing transaction due diligence, and preparing transaction documentation;
  • ​3 years working with various financial markets, including equity structures, mezzanine financings, preferred equity deals, bank financings, and capital markets; and
  • ​3 years writing investment memoranda, including evaluating risk and recommending structuring options.
