Join our Resilience team, who are responsible for the implementation of the group business resilience framework to ensure Macquarie has the ability to anticipate, withstand, respond and recover from business disruptions.
We ensure the organisation is resilient through crisis leadership, effective planning, testing and exercising, and partnering with the business and suppliers to sustain operations during times of disruption.

What role will you play?

You will be part of a global team working as trusted partners within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business in this delivery role focused on coordination of business and operational resilience regulatory requirements in the Asia region, with the objective of enhancing resilience capability and helping foster a resilient culture across the Asia region. Utilising your resilience experience and strong stakeholder engagement expertise, you will support the Business Resilience Program, ensuring its effective delivery within our businesses across Asia, with a focus on North Asia locations.
In addition, you will play a critical role in managing resilience risks, including through driving plan reviews and recovery strategy testing to ensure alignment with the Business Resilience Policy and Standards.

What you offer

  • 5+ years in one or more of Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Technology Recovery, Crisis or Incident Management, ideally gained within a financial services environment
  • Understanding of Asia Business Continuity/Operational Resilience regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Crisis Management responses, as well as execution of training/exercises with senior business leaders
  • Confidence to present, review and constructively challenge resilience capability with a customer-focused lens is key
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement of the Resilience Framework and methodology with strong project management skills to deliver the resilience framework, along with supporting on preparation of responses to auditors and regulators.
