Our Credit Capital and Liquidity team sits within Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets division, supporting the business by developing and enhancing data-driven solutions and analytical tools. Collaborating closely with teams across Financial Planning and Analysis and Business Analytics and Data Automation, we work globally to deliver insights that drive operational excellence and informed decision-making.

What role will you play?

As a Data and Analytics Developer, you will play an integral role in designing and building efficient workflows, modernising technologies, and developing solutions that streamline processes. You will work with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, deliver actionable insights, and support the implementation of new tools and visualisations. Your contributions will help improve reporting, controls, and analytical capabilities, supporting Macquarie’s global business objectives.

What you offer

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, with a strong academic record
  • 3+ years’ experience, ideally with exposure to commodity-related business or trading environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Dataiku, Alteryx, Spotfire, Power BI, and databases, alongside programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including experience working with large datasets and transactional-level data
  • Knowledge of automation processes, including scheduling and source control, with an ability to innovate and solve technical business challenges independently.
