What role will you play?

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative team and grow your skills in big data, expand your knowledge in the post trade domain, engage with a variety of business stakeholders, and lead and mentor others. You will have ownership and access to the latest data engineering and cloud technologies while also learning and growing your knowledge and skillset. You will be involved in a high profile project which involves working towards ensuring that every record in our trade system feed is matched in the validation system feed, helping to detect and prevent unauthorised trading by verifying that all trade paths are independently validated.

What you offer

  • Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts and technologies, including data lakes, data pipelines, visualisation and reporting, with a focus on creating business value
  • Proficiency in big data technologies including AWS Redshift, Kubernetes, Python, complex SQL, DBT, Airflow and Dataiku
  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, and metadata management best practices
  • Strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills with the capability to handle and take ownership of critical issues until resolution
  • Experience in leading and mentoring team members
  • Customer-focused with a 'service first' mentality and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues.
