Our Banking and Financial Services Treasury Regulatory Reporting team in Sydney is dedicated to producing accurate and timely regulatory returns for external authorities, including the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, Reserve Bank of Australia, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and the Australian Taxation Office. We work collaboratively with key business stakeholders and other treasury and finance control teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold robust control standards.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Manager, you will prepare trade, balance sheet, and statistical reports for external regulators, ensuring all documentation is up to date to support annual audits. You will identify opportunities to enhance and automate reporting processes, while engaging with internal stakeholders to analyse data and drive informed decision-making. Your role will involve participating in process improvements to maintain compliance and deliver high-quality outcomes. You will play a key part in supporting the team’s commitment to regulatory excellence and continuous improvement. This position offers the chance to develop your skills within a high-performing team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you offer

  • Previous experience in financial services or investment banking, with knowledge of regulatory reporting and related processes
  • Proficiency in using systems such as Confluence and Jira
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or a related field; a professional accounting qualification and knowledge of superannuation are desirable.
