What role will you play?

You’ll partner with stakeholders across the Commodities and Global Markets Technology teams to ensure that Technology Risk is managed effectively, in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies.
In addition, you will ensure that appropriate controls are in place to manage relevant risks in line with our framework, associated policies and the overall risk appetite.

What you offer

  • Strong ability to collaborate with Technology teams and business stakeholders to identify operational issues and recommend effective solutions
  • Expertise in investigating operational risk incidents, analysing root causes and proposing strategic measures to prevent recurrence
  • Proven experience supporting both tactical and strategic risk initiatives through proactive partnership
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing risk reporting to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
  • Experience conducting Technology control assurance reviews, risk workshops and training sessions
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to leverage data analytics or process mining tools for control automation, with prior experience in process automation, coding or analytics tools an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of data analytics platforms such as Alteryx, Power BI or SQL is an advantage.
