Infrastructure and Energy Capital invests Macquarie’s balance sheet globally to provide flexible capital solutions and investments to Macquarie’s infrastructure and energy clients, third party sponsors and directly to infrastructure investment opportunities. The team and investments are truly global with c75 executives across the Americas, Europe and Asia with c$2.5bn invested and over 25 individual assets or investments. The mandate includes the development and investment in assets or companies across the Economic and Social, Digital & Data and Energy Transition infrastructure sectors, focusing on opportunities where we create shareholder and stakeholder value.

What role will you play?

This position is responsible for managing day-to-day office operations, assisting team members, executive assistants and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include the following.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and organise appointments for the team.
  • Prepare, file, and maintain documents, records, and reports.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, and expense processing.
  • Support event and meeting logistics, including room bookings, catering, and set-up.
  • Provide administrative support to management and staff on various projects and tasks.
  • Supports the COO and central Infrastructure and Energy Capital team with administration and to assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Support the general office or executive assistants across teams.

  • A highly organised individual with excellent time management skills
  • You have the ability to work well under pressure, manage a high workload, conflicting priorities and deadlines effectively
  • The ability to be resourceful and work independently as well as within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and approachable individual with the willingness to go beyond the scope of the usual job description
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
