What role will you play?

As a Manager focused on Data Enablement in the Data Governance and Risk space, you will promote alignment with Macquarie’s Data Management Framework, ensuring that business groups across the organisation have the tools, processes, and capability needed to meet their data management obligations. You will shape and uplift data enablement solutions, help interpret the requirements of regulatory and internal frameworks, and work closely with stakeholders across Enterprise Technology, Group Data Offices, Operational Risk teams and business leaders/stakeholders to ensure strong implementation.
As we look to further embed and uplift our adoption of Collibra to facilitate our data management practices, you will leverage a strong understanding of information systems or technology to support Group operationalization of the data management framework and ongoing uplift of our data governance tool.

What you offer

  • 5+ years working in Business Analyst roles and/or Data Management environments within the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical expertise and stakeholder management
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with technology/scrum teams and an understanding of information systems
  • Awareness of relevant regulations (e.g., CPG-235, BCBS-239) and experience understanding and implementing standards, processes and policies related to data risk management and/or governance
  • Strong delivery skills and/or project experience with the ability to meet deadlines and manage and influence the work of others.
