The Business Operational Risk Manager (BORM) team is a high-impact, collaborative group at the heart of global operations. We partner with stakeholders and colleagues worldwide to proactively identify, assess, and manage operational risks. By ensuring robust controls and providing clear, actionable insights, the BORM team safeguards the Group against issues and breakdowns, rapidly escalating and reporting critical matters to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will conduct assurance reviews to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities. You will report risk findings to senior stakeholders and provide practical advice on operational risk management. Additionally, you will foster a culture of risk awareness through education and guidance within Operations.

What you offer

• Proven expertise (9-12 years) in data analytics (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, SQL) and control testing within international financial services.
• Experience in designing and improving operational risk processes, with demonstrated positive risk outcomes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and assurance over AI solutions in financial services.
• Knowledge of Banking Operations and financial products, such as commodities, financial markets, equity derivatives, and cash equities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders and address emerging business risks.
