Our Market Data Technology team provides the delivery and day-to-day support of critical market data feeds, delivery platforms and applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and help support Market Data Infrastructure including applications, servers and connectivity whilst being heavily involved in testing and implementation of real-time market data infrastructure.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support and maintain real-time Market Data infrastructures, applying strong troubleshooting skills to minimise business disruption and risk. It involves coordinating with market data vendors and Exchanges, managing vendor driven changes, and leading technical activities including weekend change implementations and BCP/Resilience testing. As the Market Data Technology SME (subject matter expert), you will partner with engineers, members from operations, project teams, and stakeholders while enhancing monitoring, capacity management, and performance to ensure platform stability.

What you offer

• 9–13 years’ experience with strong knowledge of financial markets and real time Market Data distribution platforms (e.g., TREP/RTDS, BPIPE, DACS).
• Solid understanding of consolidated market data vendor systems (LSEG/Refinitiv, Bloomberg, FactSet) and experience with Exchange/Interbank connectivity, third party network providers, and key end user products (Eikon, Workspace, Bloomberg Terminals, FXT, ICAP).
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows, plus hands on experience with virtualisation and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Docker).
• Strong networking knowledge (routing, multicasting, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP); CCNA is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Geneos ITRS, Grafana) and IT Service Management practices across Incident, Change, and Problem Management, including effective critical incident communication.
• Engineering mindset with a focus on simplification and automation, familiarity with relevant regulations (MiFID II, Dodd Frank, DORA), and scripting skills in Perl or Python.
