Join our Macquarie Asset Management Legal team supporting the Public Markets business. Based in Sydney, you will support businesses in the Asia Pacific, Americas and Europe across a number of asset classes offered in both Australia and international markets.

What role will you play?

You will facilitate document management including arranging execution of agreements, maintaining execution registers, filing and archiving, in addition to maintaining agreement databases including assisting with the integration of AI tools.

This role will see you execute legal administrative tasks such as preparation of filings and registrations with regulators including with ASIC, while drafting and preparing documents and correspondence. Your work will support key governance activities by compiling information for legal reporting to Boards, Committees, and Management.

What you offer

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an executive assistant or legal secretary role within private practice or in-house
  • High level attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative support work within a legal environment and is motivated to develop their expertise as a legal assistant or legal assistant over the longer term.
