You will play a key role in delivering group-wide talent and performance management initiatives, to enhance performance, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
Reporting to and partnering with the Banking and Financial Services Talent and Organisational Development Lead, you will take ownership of independently managing the delivery of the annual performance and talent cycle. This includes performance and reward, promotion, objective setting and development, succession planning and employee listening. This will include communication, change management, capability-building, and data governance for talent initiatives. Empowered to drive efficiency, you will identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
You will lead analysis and develop insights to support the business to make informed decisions on their talent. You will also contribute to a range of organisational development initiatives, including DEI, recognition, succession planning, employee engagement, and organisational design.
As part of this role, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Senior People & Culture Partner to Wealth and Business Banking, to support HR advisory and day-to-day tactical delivery of divisional people initiatives.
What you offer

- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology, HR, business or related field, with demonstrated experience in a Talent, Organisational Development or HR role
- Proven expertise across disciplines of people, culture, engagement, talent, performance and reward, change and organisational development
- Strong project management skills to plan, manage and deliver on time, across multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills to compile, analyse and interpret data, translating them into actionable insights, coupled with strong communication skills to clearly articulate insights and recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of Macquarie stakeholders at all levels
- Innate curiosity and creative problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and deliver pragmatic, innovative solutions
- Generative AI fluency
