By joining our Graduate Program, you’ll grow your skills and career. Your development starts with a tailored orientation at our global headquarters in Sydney. You’ll then embark on a 12-24 month structured program with on-the-job training, access to senior leaders and a comprehensive range of internal and external learning opportunities.
We have opportunities in:

Accounting
Support the growth of Macquarie by delivering financial management and control advice, management reporting and forecasting, regulatory and tax reporting and business advisory.
Equities research, M&A, advisory, treasury and markets
Help advise businesses on mergers or acquisitions, support teams that trade essential commodities or work in treasury providing funding, capital and advisory services.
Corporate operations, strategy and projects
Drive the operational effectiveness of Macquarie, help curate workplace experiences and empower us to be innovative.
Retail banking
Gain real customer-focused experience, helping people purchase a home, start a business or manage their finances.
Risk
Work on strategies to help manage and prevent risks to deliver successful and sustainable business outcomes

Corporate Affairs
You’ll support how we tell our story, engage with stakeholders, and communicate with our people, businesses and communities.

People and Culture
Support Macquarie’s businesses by attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining our people. You’ll help deliver people strategies, provide operational support to our global workforce and contribute to initiatives that build an inclusive culture.

What you offer

  • We welcome applications from students with all degree backgrounds.
  • You are in your final year of study or have completed your studies within 12 months of applying (that's 12 months from your last subject or unit).
  • No prior financial experience is required, just an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident, to be eligible for this program.
