What role will you play?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will help build Aladdin's Investment Book of Record on our Google Cloud data platform. You will be responsible for creating transformation pipelines for the firm's investment data, supported by comprehensive analysis of the data from our portfolio management platform. This will include defining data models and prototyping transformations with an emphasis on user consumption. You will collaborate with business domain leaders, end users, and data engineers and ensure consumable and high-quality data systems by following our data product lifecycle and embedding high-quality documentation and quality checks into our pipelines.

What you offer

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within an investment management environment, including drafting business requirements and data transformation specifications
  • A thorough understanding of the investment management lifecycle and the business context of key datasets
  • Experience coordinating user acceptance testing with business data owners and supporting production issues
  • Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives
  • Strong skills in SQL, data modelling, and data pipeline development, alongside analytical abilities to derive insights and support data-driven decisions.
