In this role, you help deliver accurate, well‑controlled operational processes that underpin our trading activities and support informed decision‑making across the organisation.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Associate in the Financial Markets team within the Market Operations division, you support end‑to‑end processes for products including securities transactions and liquidity activities across more than 20 markets. You manage daily operational workflows such as verifying trade bookings, drafting confirmations, settling bond and repo transactions through international central securities depositories, whilst ensuring timely and accurate funding. You investigate and resolve position breaks and cash reconciliation issues, maintain high‑quality static data and liaise directly with traders, clients and internal teams to address queries. You follow structured control processes, complete daily checklists and contribute to a strong operational risk culture that supports consistent, resilient service delivery.

  • Experience working in financial services operations, with familiarity in day‑to‑day processes supporting global markets products
  • Knowledge of securities products such as bonds and repos, including relevant settlement practices and operational requirements
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail, motivation and a professional approach, with relevant academic study in finance or a related field
