2026 Summer Internship - Private Equity

Join our Innovative Equity Venture team, which is part of Macquarie Capital and focuses on investing in leading private technology companies and investing for our clients.

What role will you play?

As an intern, you will be supporting the team’s day-to-day operations including new company research, assisting in fund vehicle formation and administration work, preparing analysis and reporting for internal and external parties/investors, and assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks.
You will learn firsthand how the team develops business opportunities, set up structures and moves through the planning and execution of an investment, as well as have the unique opportunity to participate in a potential investment exit.

What you offer

  • Currently in your penultimate undergraduate year studying either business, economics, finance or mathematics with a strong academic performance
  • Strong interest in financial services with deep knowledge of current market activity
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle working with large amounts of data and analysis
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English for communication with key stakeholders and preparation of materials (with Mandarin an advantage)
  • Available from June 2026 onwards for at least 12 weeks.
