Our Technology Risk team helps shape a proactive and collaborative risk culture across Macquarie. Working closely with colleagues across our Corporate Operations Group, we support teams in understanding and managing operational technology risks to help ensure safe, reliable and resilient technology environments.

In this role, you will work with stakeholders across the Corporate Operations Group, particularly within the Core and Personal Technology and Cybersecurity teams, to ensure operational technology risks are effectively managed. You will help maintain appropriate controls and frameworks, support investigations into operational incidents, and provide practical guidance to technology and business teams. Your work will contribute to building a strong and informed risk culture across the organisation.

• Experience in technology risk management, technology audit, assurance advisory, or technology operations, ideally with at least 2 years in a related field

• Tertiary qualifications in computer science and, ideally, relevant certifications in information security, technology audit, governance, or risk management

• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence discussions on emerging risks

• The ability to manage multiple priorities, work with agility, and quickly understand new concepts, supported by sound problem-solving capability

• Familiarity with cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, cloud hosting, or personal technology environments; experience in financial services is valuable.
