Join our Global Trade Support Services (TSS) team and directly influence the success of our Equities & Equities Derivatives businesses by supporting critical trading and settlement front-to-back applications.

What role will you play?

Working directly on both Front Office and Settlements systems and with front, middle and back office business users and their aligned business support groups, you will provide application support for front-to-back systems across equities and equities derivatives products. You will be responsible for the provision of operational technical support across global trading and settlement platforms at Macquarie & further ensure the successful delivery of key technology projects and initiatives.
Your wide-reaching technical skills and ability to communicate complex technology terms with business customers will ensure business outcomes are delivered in quickest timeframes. You will further develop your proactive problem identification and solution implementation skills and expected to manage problems to conclusion.
You will be responding to enquiries, escalations, and establishing close working partnerships with stakeholders, while co-ordinating a variety of projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

What you offer

• 5-12 years of experience working in a trade execution and/or trade settlement support role
• Experience working with a mix of vendor and in-house trading systems and settlement platforms
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Unix and SQL (both in a physical and Cloud environment)
• Experience of front-to-back trading lifecycles across equities and derivatives products
• Experience with Trade Settlement processes and applications
• Exposure to execution platforms such as FIX protocol & Electronic Execution platforms
