This role is a fixed term contract.

Our team provides independent audit oversight for Macquarie Korea Asset Management, supporting strong governance and regulatory compliance. We work in line with Korean law and regulatory expectations to promote transparency and sound decision-making.

What role will you play?

You will act as the statutory auditor for Macquarie Korea Asset Management, carrying out audits required under Korean law. You will review annual financial statements, attend board meetings to provide independent oversight, and work closely with internal assurance teams while maintaining regulatory independence.

What you offer

  • Strong understanding of the Commercial Act of Korea and relevant finance-related laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations
  • Experience conducting comprehensive, special and ongoing audits, including annual financial statement audits
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement on the scope of the statutory auditor role within a global financial services environment
  • Korean language capability, with the ability to work effectively with local regulators and stakeholders
  • Independence from Macquarie Korea Asset Management and all Macquarie entities globally for the past 3 years, as required by law.

We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
