What role will you play?

As a Regional Partner within Commodities and Global Markets, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Asia Pacific to drive continual improvement to our conduct and supervisory practices. You will provide support on supervisory control and system queries, design and deliver supervisory training and capability reviews, be the local lead on conduct related issues (including potential market conduct and client impact incidents), and the local representative in relevant governance meetings, assisting with preparation of management reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate risk culture observations into practical impacts and actions.
In addition, you will be required to build and maintain strong working relationships with the broader first line of defence Commodities and Global Markets Non-Financial Risk team and key stakeholders across Human Resources, second line of defence Compliance, Surveillance, and Internal Audit.

What you offer

  • 15+ years of prior experience in a large financial market and/or a commodities business, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of front office supervision and conduct and related industry and regulatory standards and environment across Asia Pacific, including Australia, Singapore and China
  • Experience in designing and operating Line 1 supervisory controls, incident investigation, including root cause analysis and designing remedial actions, issue identification and conduct risk management, including staff misconduct
  • Understanding of eCommunications monitoring and surveillance, including governance, processes, controls and management information
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders confidently and professionally
  • Experience in PowerBi, JIRA, Alteryx and Dataiku would be an advantage
  • High level of ownership and delivery in a fast-paced environment, with a curious mindset and proactive approach to identifying issues and preparedness to challenge the status quo.
