You’ll join our Central Technology team within Commodities and Global Markets, working on an exciting strategic program to build and enhance platforms that directly support Macquarie’s global customers.

What role will you play?

In this role, you’ll partner closely with operational and business stakeholders, applying your expertise in software and data engineering to play a key role as a Data Engineer. You’ll design and build data pipelines, organise downstream data consumption, and solve a wide range of technical challenges.

What you offer

• Excellent hands on coding ability in Python, with the confidence to review Python code
• Strong capability querying large scale data using tools such as Redshift, Hive, Spark, and Presto
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Bitbucket
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Dataiku, Airflow, or Argo Workflows
