Join our Business Management team within the Equity Derivatives and Trading (EDT) Division supporting our Commodities and Global Markets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and collaborative environment.

What role will you play?

You will work within Central team of the Equity Derivatives and Trading business, coordinating business management activities across high priority workflows, including bespoke transactions and their ongoing lifecycle, while partnering with stakeholders across the firm on a daily basis. We collaborate across Front Office teams based in Sydney and Hong Kong, as well as Finance, Legal, Risk Management, and Operations, to help ensure transactions are appropriately supported once originated and the business runs smoothly, meets its obligations, and delivers on key priorities. The role involves transaction and workflow coordination, you will coordinate booking, system and business workflows, to support transactions once originated, maintaining deal documentation and artefacts, support lifecycle events and amendments, oversee key controls and checks, contribute to regulatory reporting requirements, and support responses to client queries on operational /transactional matters when required. Transactions are typically highly customised, with complexity that requires high attention to detail and careful management of operational risk.
Alongside transaction related responsibilities, you will deliver recurring BAU activities including reporting, attestations, data validations, and periodic reviews.

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution, with 2–4 years’ experience in finance, business management, risk management, or a related operational or transactional role within the financial services industry.
• Experience working in a hands on operational environment, supporting transaction lifecycles and recurring BAU activities within a trading or markets context.
• Working knowledge of markets related products, such as derivatives or listed instruments, and an interest in developing deeper product and lifecycle understanding.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – comfortable engaging across Front Office, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, and Operations with clear ownership and follow-through
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share insights clearly and engage stakeholders across the business
• Strong planning and organisational capability—able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commercial acumen, with a strong learning capability, enabling effective handling of operational and transactional matters and navigation of highly customised transactions.
• A proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation—seeking ways to improve efficiency and strengthen control frameworks
