Senior Associate - Data Governance

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Client Fulfilment team. In this role, you will support the uplift of client data across CGM to enable the business and enhance the end to end client experience.

What role will you play?

As a Data Governance Support Analyst, you will support CGM’s data governance programme with a strong focus on client data, working closely with CGM stakeholders and the Group Data Office. You will help improve the quality, transparency, and usability of client data by maintaining governance metadata, documenting end to end data lineage, and supporting data ownership, definitions, and controls. Your work will contribute to stronger governance artefacts, improved regulatory outcomes, and enhanced client experiences in a fast paced, markets facing environment.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience and genuine interest in data governance, metadata quality, and improving data outcomes across the enterprise
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately capture and represent metadata related to complex data flows
  • An analytical mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding client data, systems, and business processes
  • High level of computer literacy, including strong Excel skills and the ability to rapidly learn new data and governance tools
  • Exposure to data lineage mapping, control documentation, or data flow analysis
  • Experience within financial markets, financial services, or regulated environments
