What role will you play?

As the Post-trade Lifecycle Transformation Product Owner, you will own and define the Trade Lifecycle Operational Flow, setting the vision for a fully digital, event-driven post-trade environment. This includes the target-state architecture, product strategy, and roadmap to deliver scalable, deterministic outcomes from design through enterprise adoption.
You will lead a first-principles re-architecture of post-trade, replacing manual, fragmented, batch processes with structured lifecycle events, canonical data models, and automated controls. This is a true greenfield opportunity to design the future state.
Accountable for end-to-end lifecycle outcomes, you will partner with trading, operations, and technology to eliminate manual touchpoints and enable real-time, straight-through processing with full transparency and control.
You will embed AI as a core capability, enabling automated decision making, intelligent routing, and proactive exception management. Leading cross-functional teams in an ambiguous environment, you will drive rapid execution while maintaining strategic clarity, building scalable, reusable platforms with long-term commercial value.

  • Exceptional product thinker in engineering-led environments, shaping what gets built and why, with a first-principles mindset focused on reimagining processes rather than incrementally improving them.
  • Proven experience creating workflow systems, operational platforms, or trade lifecycle technology from the ground up, with a focus on eliminating manual processes.
  • Hands-on experience building with AI agents, Large Language Model (LLM) powered workflows, and agentic systems—leveraging AI as a force multiplier and leading teams to do the same.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, greenfield environments with high stakes, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, data) and consistently deliver working products.
  • Commercially driven with an eye for cost, scale, and building products; ideally brings experience or familiarity with post-trade operations, capital markets, event-driven architectures, and trade lifecycle systems.
  • Someone who challenges conventions, prioritises transformation over incremental change, and relentlessly pursues better ways of working.
