Our Financial Management Chief Operating Office team develops and delivers the Financial Management strategy and priority programmes. Our team partners closely with senior leaders across the Group to provide clear, high‑impact strategic and operational support.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in supporting the effective running of Financial Management and partnering closely with our Finance and Tax and Group Treasury divisions. You will work with senior leaders to deliver strategic priorities, strengthen governance, and oversee critical operational activities that support the function.

You will contribute across strategic enablement, leadership support, and operational management to shape, implement, and embed the Financial Management strategy by translating priorities into practical action. You will also support strong governance by coordinating leadership forums and on‑sites and by enabling key regulatory and control obligations. Alongside this, you will oversee and coordinate core operational activities, including centrally run processes such as business resilience planning and records management, helping Financial Management operate effectively at scale.

  • 5+ years’ of experience in a similar role with strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders
  • Experience turning strategy into action through planning, governance, and structured delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while applying sound judgement and integrity
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
