As a highly motivated and experienced Application Engineer, you will be joining our Tax Technology team, which builds and maintains Technology Solutions to enable Tax reporting and compliance globally.

What role will you play?

The role will work closely with various technology teams, business teams and stakeholders globally in designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting solutions using technologies and concepts in SaaS, PaaS, Cloud hosting services, Scripting, Orchestration Tools, SQL, Big Data, Data Warehousing, Data Ingestion Pipelines, ETL, and CI/CD tools. It is also expected that application and data engineering best practices are being followed throughout the delivery lifecycle and are kept up to date.

What you offer

• 5+ Years experience in delivering or supporting Application and Data engineering projects in an enterprise environment.
• On-Premise, PaaS, and SaaS Enterprise application build and support experience.
• Application integration from upstream and downstream applications and data providers / data stores via APIs and/or file-based methods.
• Excellent in shell scripting, and various general programming languages like Python and SQL and use of Developer Tools like GitHub/Bitbucket/Bamboo/Ansible (or other CICD tools).
• Experience working on Big Data / Data Warehousing, ETL, batch job scheduling (such as Control-m, Oozie, Airflow) and cloud-based environments (ideally AWS or GCP).
