Our Operational Risk Strategy & Insights team within Banking and Financial Services provides practical insights that help the business identify, understand and manage emerging operational risks. We support effective decision-making through clear governance, prioritisation and reporting, simplifying complex issues for our teams and stakeholders.

As a Risk Insights and Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening operational risk management through the use of data, technology and advanced analytics. Working as part of a collaborative and agile team, you will turn complex data into meaningful insights and share clear, practical recommendations with stakeholders across personal banking, business banking and wealth management. Your work will help the business respond to emerging risks and make informed, forward-looking decisions.

What you offer

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end data analysis, including preparing and cleansing data, generating insights, and presenting findings through clear narratives and effective visual dashboards
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, assess and communicate emerging risks and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality management reporting that brings together complex information and clearly explains data-driven recommendations
  • Experience in data analytics or business analysis roles, with hands-on capability using analytics and visualisation tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps or Alteryx
  • A sound understanding of how artificial intelligence tools, such as Gemini or Claude, can be used to support data analysis, insight generation and content creation, with knowledge of risk management and control frameworks considered advantageous.
