Macquarie's Futures clearing business has experienced strong recent growth within its institutional client base, particularly across hedge funds and asset managers. We are now expanding our EMEA team and seeking an experienced Futures clearing sales professional to build on this momentum. Known for our excellence in commodities, we also have global reach and capabilities to clear traditional financial listed derivatives, offering clients a truly comprehensive solution.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

You will be responsible for originating new institutional client relationships — with a specific focus on hedge funds and asset managers across the EMEA region. Critically, you will be expected to hit the ground running, leveraging your existing network to open doors and gain direct access to the key decision-makers within these institutions — specifically those responsible for selecting and appointing futures clearing providers. You will drive new business origination whilst also managing and growing an existing book of institutional clients. Given the global nature of some of our institutional clients, you will also work closely with our US colleagues where required.

  • A proven track record in futures clearing sales, with demonstrable success in originating and growing institutional client relationships
  • Solid knowledge of futures clearing and the broader listed derivatives landscape across both commodities and financial products
  • A self-starter attitude — commercially hungry, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience covering EMEA-based institutional clients with an understanding of the regional market and regulatory environment
