Our Regulatory Interactions and Compliance team supports Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group by helping the business understand and respond to changes in laws, regulations and industry expectations. We work closely with teams across the organisation to provide clear insight and guidance in a complex and fast‑moving regulatory environment.

What role will you play?

As a Regulatory Change Associate Manager, you will help identify and assess emerging regulatory and industry developments that may affect the business. You will support horizon scanning activities, translate regulatory change into clear and practical insights, and work with colleagues across risk, compliance, legal and business teams to support effective responses. Your work will help senior leaders stay informed and support the successful delivery of regulatory change initiatives across the organisation.

What you offer

  • Experience working in risk, compliance, regulatory change, governance or legal roles within banking or financial services, with an interest in the Australian regulatory environment
  • The ability to analyse emerging regulatory developments, assess potential business impacts and prioritise information effectively in a fast‑paced setting
  • Strong communication skills, with experience summarising complex information clearly for a range of audiences
  • Well‑developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across business and specialist teams
  • A proactive, curious approach with a willingness to build regulatory and business knowledge, with tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, business, risk or a related field considered beneficial.
