Our Regulatory Interactions & Compliance Advisory team supports the Wealth Management business by working closely with senior leaders to meet regulatory expectations and build trusted, transparent relationships with regulators. As part of our Banking and Financial Services Group, the team helps the business operate responsibly, sustainably, and with confidence in a highly regulated environment.

As Senior Manager, Wealth Regulatory Interactions & Compliance, you will lead a small specialist team that provides both forward-looking compliance advice and manages significant regulatory engagements. You will partner with senior Wealth leaders to influence strategy, guide decision-making on complex regulatory matters, and ensure clear, consistent, and well-considered engagement with regulators. Your role will be central to anticipating regulatory change and translating it into practical, actionable outcomes for the business.

  • A deep understanding of the Wealth Management sector, including superannuation, investment platforms, and financial advice, alongside strong knowledge of the laws and regulatory principles that apply
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing team members, with the ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing, and commercially minded team culture
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to advise and influence senior leaders, provide constructive challenge, and build trust across the organisation
  • A proven track record of managing complex regulatory engagements, reviews, or investigations, including responding effectively to regulators such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) in time-sensitive situations
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to break down complex regulatory developments, identify root causes, and provide clear, practical, and actionable advice to support business decisions.
