Macquarie Sekuritas Indonesia is seeking a temporary Research Analyst (approximately six months) to join our Jakarta-based Research team.

As an Equity Research Analyst, you will work closely with senior research professionals to identify and assess investment opportunities across a range of sectors. You will conduct detailed company and industry analysis, build and maintain financial models, analyse market trends, and produce high-quality research reports and investment insights for institutional clients.

You will engage with company management teams, industry participants, and internal stakeholders to develop differentiated views on companies and sectors under coverage. The role provides exposure to both bottom-up company analysis and broader macroeconomic and industry themes, helping clients make informed investment decisions.

Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you will contribute to idea generation, support research publications and client presentations, and help strengthen relationships with institutional investors across the region. Over time, you will build sector expertise, develop your market profile, and play an active role in growing client engagement and research franchise value.

The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a keen interest in Indonesia's capital markets.
Prior knowledge of the FMCG and retail sectors would be an advantage, though not a prerequisite.
