We’re seeking someone to join our team as a HR Business Partner Support in Glasgow.
In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is an Associate level position within the EMEA HR Employee Solutions (ES) team which support the HR Business Partner function by completing and contributing to a number of operational and advisory processes.

What you’ll do in the role:
The specific responsibilities of the role will include assisting in coordinating activities surrounding employee relations, performance management, compensation, people metrics and talent management. General responsibilities include:
· Act as first point of contact for general queries from employees and the business
· Manage high volume of emails in centralised mailbox
· Maintain and update the central HR database (Workday) and various other systems, as well as the team’s own process tracking tools
· Support Senior HR Business Partners with ad hoc tasks and queries
· Maintain strong relationships with HRBP counterparts regionally and globally
· Remain up to date on all aspects of UK employment legislation
· Additional responsibilities include termination support, international mobility, flexible working arrangements, performance evaluation process support, reporting and metrics, compensation and promotion cycle support, payroll query support, HR governance and project support
At the onset of the role, responsibilities will be focused on operational items. As the ES team grows and evolves over time, we anticipate the team to take on more complex responsibilities in the future, including:
· Performance Management Support
· Absence Management Support
· Employee Relations Support
What you’ll bring to the role:
· At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
· Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
· Methodical, rational and logical approach to problem solving
· Excellent attention to detail
· Compensation/data experience or aptitude; strong numerical skills
· Strong Excel skills
· Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
· Willingness to seek and identify alternative solutions when faced with an obstacle
· Ability to take ownership, to work autonomously and willingness to be accountable whilst aware of own limitations and of when to seek guidance from more experienced colleagues
· Strong team ethic and proven ability to work collaboratively
· Flexible and professional approach
· Ability to manage expectations of clients and colleagues
· The ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
· Focus on excellence and delivery to clients
