The Client Tax Reporting Director position will assist in managing the unit directly responsible for supporting our non-resident alien (NRA) clients team to perform numerous daily functions, including review of control reports, exception reports and assist with year-end 1042-S/1099 reporting, WSP and DTP management, and support our client service team to address any questions related to tax NRA tax reporting and withholding from our branch offices and internal business partners. > Bachelor's degree
> FINRA Series 99
> Prior tax reporting experience is positive.
> Knowledge in IRS Chapter 3 & 4 NRA and FATCA regulations
> Strong written and verbal communication skills
> Strong technical skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85K and $130K per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
