We are looking for an Associate to join our Deposit Management team within the Glasgow office.


The Deposit Management team sits within the Shared Services and Banking Operations silo of the Operations division and has primary responsibility for Operational control, management and reporting of EMEA deposits.

Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely settlement of EMEA Deposit cashflow obligations
- Efficient and accurate reconciliation and escalation of exceptions, fails or breaks in the settlement cycle
-Provide project management support and delivery of key infrastructure changes, including support of regional business initiatives
-Working with technology for implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
-Managing stakeholder relationships across the business unit and Operations partners
-Assisting on any issues, and providing timely escalation to desk and operations senior management.

Skills required (essential):
- Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast paced multi-tasking environment
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Aptitude in Microsoft applications
- Basic knowledge of Transformation tools e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, UIPath etc.
-Due to the nature of the products traded, the job requires the ability to identify problems as they arise and understand when these need to be escalated. Strong problem solving skills and continued follow up are a necessity.
-The candidate should possess a good appreciation of risk - both operationally and franchise.
-Ability to provide attentive client service and develop client relationships both internally and externally.
