The Wealth Management Automation & Workflow Solutions (A&W) team is responsible for driving business transformation across Wealth Management and beyond, with a focus on automation, process optimization, innovation, and centralization opportunities. The team leads various strategic initiatives that involve developing workflow solutions to address complex problems while driving business enablement and efficiency.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join this dynamic team. The candidate will lead initiatives responsible for enhancing and maintaining service and processing platforms for various business areas. Primary focus areas will cover the analysis, design, and delivery of workflow solutions to establish and enhance existing business processes within Central Risk Organization, develop integrated Automation Workflow Program and a broader portfolio of business transformation projects to support various operations and central teams across Wealth Management.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Manage efforts to incorporate new technology capabilities onto the Wealth Management Workflow Ecosystem
  • Oversee, create, and implement business cases and technology requirements for projects that reduce risk, drive operational efficiency and business enablement
  • Act as a liaison between business, product, User Experience, and technology teams to identify and prioritize platform enhancement scope, milestones, and timelines
  • Identify and elaborate on critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the vision/goals and address critical user and business needs
  • Deliver end user engagement and adoption initiatives, including training collateral development and management

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, and/or business strategy/reengineering fields
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, & problem-solving skills with the ability to execute on strategic solutions
  • Strong project management, organization, communication, attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
  • Ability to quickly turnaround high-quality work without sacrificing skill or accuracy
  • Experience developing partnerships & successfully coordinating across multiple lines of business/product areas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing expectations and deadlines across various projects.
  • Possess strategic thinking and ability to plan and execute efficiently on assigned projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in PowerPoint
  • Experience with Agile or application development methodology for technology projects, including user story creation, is a plus
  • Knowledge of Software development life cycle & understanding of Product Management software (JIRA) a plus

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
