Morgan Stanley is looking to hire a Assistant Marketing Manager (International Firmwide Marketing) based in London. This varied role requires a creative, collaborative individual to support the execution of an integrated marketing plan and associated campaigns aligned to business objectives.

The successful candidate will be passionate about marketing, and will have experience of brand management, content, creative development and digital. They will also be comfortable working alongside and partnering with marketing colleagues globally to support team objectives, as well as stakeholders from a variety of local business units.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the Firmwide Marketing Executive Director on marketing campaigns across various initiatives and business lines.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner and share status updates, results, and insights.
  • Manage the International Marketing annual roadmap calendar ensuring that it is accurate and updated.
  • Oversee the content approval process, managing stakeholder expectations and timelines.
  • Work closely with the firm's internal Creative Studio to develop and deliver creative assets, templates, and collateral for key campaigns and to assist local teams.
  • Provide brand oversight and governance regionally and work closely with the Firm's internal Creative Studio.
  • Support the regional implementation of our employer brand proposition.
  • Support HR with talent acquisition with marketing strategy and execution, especially across Campus campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of EMEA firmwide digital signage.
  • Manage the branded merchandise strategy for EMEA, including the relationship with the vendor, governance and selection of products, brand approvals and internal communication.
  • Draft briefs, and coordinate local photo and video shoots, setting clear objectives, liaising with photographers/vendors.
  • Manage all aspects of the regional photo library.
  • Support the management of regional MS.com pages by advising on content and UX and keeping content up to date.
  • Contribute to internal communications campaigns to engage employees for marketing campaigns.
  • Where appropriate/needed represent for our International Marketing colleagues at meetings and facilitate communication amongst wider Marketing colleagues, particularly in Asia.
  • Support our Industrial Placement Student facilitating an environment which contributes to their learning and longer-term career development.
  • Proactively keep up-to-speed with global marketing strategy and act as a brand ambassador for Firmwide Marketing locally.


What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience across marketing, brand management, content, creative development, and stakeholder management.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in a large financial, professional or insurance services organization or creative/marketing agency. Previous experience in asset management would be a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Proactive and creative self-starter, with a 'can do' attitude and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work tactically when required and take up ad-hoc requests and projects that come up.
  • Strong attention to detail in pursuit of thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; copywriting skills are a plus.
  • Understanding of the creative briefing process and experience developing creative assets working with internal and external agencies.

Where will you be working?

The International Firmwide Marketing team has responsibility for building and maintaining the Firm's brand across EMEA and APAC. This role reports to the Executive Director International Firmwide Marketing (based in London) and will suit a someone who enjoys a varied role, is organized and builds strong relationships. Specifically, the role involves close collaboration and co-ordination with various teams, including Brand and Digital in New York, and our wider International Marketing colleagues based in Hong Kong, Mumbai and Tokyo. The candidate will also work closely with Internal Comms and HR supporting talent acquisition and retention across paid, owned and earned channels.
